Bushfire Logic was engaged by Tourism WA to undertake a bushfire attack level (BAL) assessment at Ellensbrook in the south-west of WA. Ellensbrook is an original homestead managed by the National Trust. The purpose of the assessment was to understand the risk of bushfire to the site and identify locations within the project area that had the lowest bushfire risk. A comprehensive site assessment was undertaken and a detailed BAL assessment and BAL contour map was provided to assist Tourism WA in its discussions with stakeholders on the potential for new tourism opportunities at this site.
