Bushfire Certification – Subdivision and Development
Bushfire Management Plans (BMPs) often include an implementation table which outlines the responsibilities of the developer(s), the landowner(s) and the local government for the initial implementation and ongoing maintenance of the required bushfire mitigation measures.
Implementation requirements can include establishing Asset Protection Zones (APZs), installing or upgrading public roads, emergency access ways, private driveways and turn-around areas in accordance with the Bushfire Guidelines, and ensuring water tanks are provided and fitted with appropriate couplings.
Bushfire Logic can help you unpack these requirements and determine exactly what is needed to ensure your subdivision clearance or development application progress smoothly.
